Follow Up Boss Pricing Guide

Follow Up Boss pricing — what it costs and what's not included.

Prices sourced from third-party reviews (Capterra, CloudTalk) and FUB's help documentation. Always verify at followupboss.com/pricing for current rates.

FUB Calling — the most common add-on

FUB's built-in dialer is a paid add-on, not included in the base plan. Per FUB's help documentation, the Calling add-on is $39 per user per month on top of the base plan price. For a 5-agent team on Grow, that's roughly $540/month just for the CRM and dialer before any AI tools.

FUB AI features are included on some plans as noted above — check which plan applies to your tier. Features that use FUB Calling data require the Calling add-on to be active.

What Follow Up Boss pricing doesn't include

FUB is a CRM. It manages contacts, routes leads, and automates follow-up sequences. It's excellent at what it does. What it doesn't ship natively:

  • Zillow speed-to-lead in seconds. FUB can route the lead to an agent. Getting an AI-drafted email response to the lead within seconds of arrival requires a tool like Ace's zillow_speed_to_lead_check.
  • Account-wide AI scoring across your full contact database. Ace Trove ranks contacts by within-account Win Score, models churn risk and revenue-at-risk (est.), and writes supported values back as custom fields in FUB. Win Score is not a close probability.
  • Fair Housing compliance scan on AI-drafted messages. Ace's scan_message_for_compliance tool checks AI-drafted messages before they send — not just model training, but a code-enforced gate with admin alerting.
  • Agentic AI from Claude.ai or ChatGPT on your phone. FUB's own AI operates inside FUB. Ace connects FUB data to the Claude and ChatGPT Connectors — so you can ask AI on your phone about a lead and it can actually look up, draft, and act.

These aren't criticisms of FUB — they're scope decisions. FUB is deliberately CRM-focused. Ace is the AI layer that runs on top of it.

What Ace costs on top of FUB

Ace has three plan tiers. The following are structural tier names from the Ace codebase — check our pricing page for current dollar amounts, as prices may be updated.

Tier Who it's for Key capabilities
Free Solo agents getting started Core AI assistant inside FUB, basic contact context, Claude Connector access
Regular Active agents on teams Full AI drafting, memory, compliance scan, advanced Zillow tools, Ace Trove access
Pro Power users & team leads Everything in Regular, plus voice chat (WebRTC speech-to-speech), priority AI, advanced analytics

Tier names verified against chat-app/routes/embed.js. Voice requires planType: 'pro' and voiceChatEnabled: true per system configuration.

Ace Trove — Ace's account-wide contact scoring, pipeline movement, and revenue-at-risk signals — is priced separately based on your FUB database size. It writes scores back directly to custom fields in FUB.

Thinking about total cost

For a 5-agent team on FUB Grow + FUB Calling, your baseline CRM cost is roughly $540/month before AI tools. Adding Ace's Regular tier per agent layers on top of that. The question is whether the time savings and conversion improvements justify the addition — and that depends heavily on how many leads your team processes monthly.

One useful frame: a single Zillow lead with a $400,000 sale and a 2.5% commission represents $10,000 in gross commission. If Ace's speed-to-lead response converts one additional lead per month that a slow response would have lost, the ROI math changes quickly. We don't fabricate conversion rate statistics — but the underlying logic of speed-to-lead is well-documented in real estate sales research.

Ace is free to start. You can evaluate the AI in your own FUB account, on your own leads, before committing to a paid tier.

Follow Up Boss pricing FAQ

  • How much does Follow Up Boss cost per month?

Follow Up Boss offers three plans: Grow at approximately $69 per user per month, Pro at approximately $499 per month flat rate, and Platform at approximately $1,000 per month flat rate. Annual billing reduces the cost. Prices are subject to change — verify current pricing at followupboss.com/pricing.

  • Is there a free version of Follow Up Boss?

The three Follow Up Boss plans documented on this page — Grow, Pro and Platform — are all paid; a free tier is not among them. Follow Up Boss has offered a time-limited free trial instead, so check followupboss.com/pricing for the current trial terms before you plan around it. Follow Up Ace, the AI layer described on this page, does have a free tier.

  • What is included in Follow Up Boss Grow?

The FUB Grow plan is priced per user and includes CRM core features: contact management, lead routing, action plans, smart lists, calling (as a paid add-on), and basic reporting. It is billed per user per month.

  • What is the difference between FUB Pro and FUB Platform?

FUB Pro ($499/month flat) adds team-level reporting, more automations, and advanced calling features compared to Grow. Platform ($1,000/month flat) adds brokerage-level controls, white-labeling, and expanded API access. Both are flat-rate regardless of user count (within limits). Check followupboss.com/pricing for current details.

  • What are the cons of Follow Up Boss?

The trade-offs are structural rather than functional. The step from per-seat Grow to the flat-rate Pro tier is a big jump for a small team; calling is a paid add-on rather than something included in the base plan; and FUB is deliberately a CRM rather than an AI or lead-generation platform, so predictive scoring, seller-intent detection and agentic AI are things you layer on top. We do not publish user-satisfaction statistics we cannot source.

  • Is Follow Up Boss worth the investment?

It depends on lead volume and team size — a per-seat plan and a $499/month flat plan reward very different shapes of team. The honest test is to price your own configuration against the number of leads you actually work each month. We deliberately do not quote conversion-lift percentages we cannot verify.

  • Does Follow Up Boss have AI features?

Follow Up Boss includes built-in AI features on some plans. Follow Up Ace adds a deeper AI layer on top of FUB: real-time lead scoring, Zillow speed-to-lead tools, Fair Housing compliance scanning on AI-drafted messages, voice chat, and agentic AI via Claude and ChatGPT connectors — all without replacing FUB as your CRM.
