Connect Follow Up Boss to Zed.

Ace AI is the FUB-native real-estate copilot. Zed reads MCP servers from the context_servers key in ~/.config/zed/settings.json. One block, 170+ Follow Up Boss tools — search contacts, draft messages, run Zillow workflows, score leads with BANT+M.

Before you start: The MCP connector requires an Ace Pro seat ($55/mo). Sign up free first.

  1. Open Zed settings.

    In Zed, hit Cmd+, (macOS) or Ctrl+, (Linux) — that opens ~/.config/zed/settings.json.

  2. Add followupace to context_servers.

  3. Reload Zed and sign in.

    Open the Zed Assistant panel and call any Ace tool. Sign in with your Follow Up Boss email and paste the 6-digit code mailed to that inbox.

Why this matters for realtors

Zed is fast — multiplayer-fast. If your team's tech operator is already pairing in Zed, having Follow Up Boss accessible from the Assistant panel means the same window that's editing your IDX site can pull a live pipeline view or fire a compliance-checked Zillow first-touch.
