Before you start: The MCP connector requires an Ace Pro seat ($55/mo). Sign up free first, then upgrade your seat to Pro.

  1. Open cline_mcp_settings.json.

    In Cline, click the MCP servers icon and choose Edit MCP Settings. Cline opens the JSON file directly.

  2. Add the followupace server.

    Drop this block inside the top-level "mcpServers" object (or the file's existing structure):

  3. Save and sign in.

    Cline auto-reloads MCP settings. The first time Ace runs, sign in with your Follow Up Boss email and enter the 6-digit verification code mailed to that inbox.
