Connect Follow Up Boss to Windsurf.

Ace AI is the FUB-native real-estate copilot. Windsurf (Codeium's MCP-aware editor) reads MCP servers from ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json — drop one JSON block in and Cascade gets 170+ Follow Up Boss tools to act on your CRM.

Before you start: The MCP connector requires an Ace Pro seat ($55/mo). Sign up free first.

  1. Open ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json.

    In Windsurf, open the Cascade panel, click the hammer icon, and choose Configure MCP Servers — it opens the file. (Or open it yourself in any editor.)

  2. Paste the followupace server.

  3. Refresh and sign in.

    Hit the refresh icon on the MCP servers panel. The first call to Ace prompts you for your Follow Up Boss email — a 6-digit code is mailed to that inbox; paste it back. Done.

Why this matters for realtors

Windsurf's Cascade agent is autonomous — give it a goal and it iterates. Hooking Follow Up Boss in means a single Windsurf agent can do "pull every Zillow lead from the last 72 hours, score them, draft a first-touch text, and tee them up for me to approve" without leaving the editor.
