Plans, seats & pricing
What does Follow Up Ace cost?
Ace is $25/seat/month. Ace Pro is $55/seat/month and adds voice mode plus Claude/ChatGPT (MCP) integration. Ace Trove — the optional account-wide intelligence add-on — is a flat monthly price tiered by your Follow Up Boss contact count, from $49/mo (up to 5,000 contacts) to $899/mo (up to 500,000). See Regular vs. Pro and What Is Ace Trove?
What's the difference between Ace and Ace Pro?
Both give every agent AI chat inside Follow Up Boss. Ace Pro adds hands-free voice mode and the ability to connect Ace to Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI assistants over MCP. Full breakdown: Understanding Your Ace Plan: Regular vs. Pro.
Can I upgrade to Pro myself?
If you're on a free seat and your team hasn't assigned you a paid seat, yes — open Ace, click Upgrade, and choose Ace ($25/seat/mo) or Ace Pro ($55/seat/mo) with your own card; access turns on immediately. If your seat is already paid for by your admin (team-pay), you'll see "Ask your admin" instead, and your admin changes your plan from the Seats page. See Your Ace Plan: Regular vs. Pro.
Do my agents have to pay?
No. When an admin buys and assigns a seat (team-pay), the agent is simply activated — they never enter payment details. See Team Management.
Why can't I upgrade, cancel, or manage billing from my agent view?
If billing controls are greyed out or read “Ask your admin,” your seat is managed by your team (team-pay). Billing is managed where it was purchased, so team-billed seats are changed by the admin, not the individual agent. Ask your admin to make the change. See Billing & Seat Management.
How do I buy Ace Trove?
From the admin dashboard, open Billing and use the Ace Trove card. Your tier is auto-quoted from your Follow Up Boss contact count — there's nothing to size by hand. Agents can't buy Trove; they trigger a notify-your-admin request. See Ace Trove: How to Get Started.
Setup & access
How do agents get access to Ace?
An admin assigns them a seat from the Seats page. Ace then appears automatically inside Follow Up Boss — no install on the agent's end. New agents should read the Agent Quickstart.
Why do I keep seeing "Connect Follow Up Boss" every time I log in?
Ace uses a short-lived security token that expires after a period of inactivity. Click Connect Follow Up Boss — it reconnects in a few seconds with no password. An auto-refresh improvement is in progress. See Troubleshooting.
The 2026 dashboard
Where did Revenue Guard / Opportunities / Suggestions go?
They didn't disappear — the dashboard was unified in 2026. Revenue Guard is now the dollars-at-risk lens inside Command Center; opportunity discovery lives in Book of Business; suggestions live in Usage & Adoption. Full map: Where Did My Menu Items Go?
Why do the same numbers now appear on every screen?
That's by design. Ace uses one shared definition for each metric, so "GCI at risk (est.)" or a contact's Win Score means the same thing everywhere you see it.
Follow Up Boss fields
My "Ace Score / Ace Tier / Next Action" field disappeared in Follow Up Boss. Is that a bug?
No — it's the 2026 field consolidation. The older heuristic fields were retired and replaced by six model-grounded fields: Ace Win Score and Ace Churn Risk (free), plus Ace Expected GCI (est.), Ace Opportunity, Ace Seller Tier, and Ace Last Analyzed (with Ace Trove). Rebuild any Smart List that filtered on the old fields to use Ace Win Score. Detail: Understanding Your Ace Fields.
Voice
Why don't I see the microphone / voice mode?
Voice is a Pro feature, used from the Ace Companion. If you're on Pro and the mic shows "blocked," your browser denied mic access — click the lock icon in the address bar, allow the microphone, and use the retry link. See Voice Mode.
Privacy & control
Can I control what Ace is allowed to read?
Yes. In the admin Knowledge Base, each item can be set to Ace uses or Ace ignores — enforced on the server. See Managing Your Ace Knowledge Base.
A terms/agreement popup appeared inside Follow Up Boss — is that phishing?
No. It's the expected July 2026 terms update. Click Accept and you're straight back in; nothing about your account or data changes.
