Why Can't I See Other Agents' Contacts in Seller Radar or Opportunity Radar?

Updated October 14, 2026

Short answer: Ace works through your own Follow Up Boss login, so what you can see is what Follow Up Boss lets you see. In the Companion, Seller Radar and Opportunity Radar show your own contacts plus team totals; the named, team-wide lists are only for seats whose own role is admin, owner or broker. This is deliberate, not a bug.

What you see, by surface

WhereWhat an agent seesWhat an admin, owner or broker sees
Companion → Seller RadarYour own likely sellers, plus team totals (counts and equity totals). The named team list is withheld. The account-wide list of likely sellers.
Companion → Opportunity RadarYour own opportunities, plus team totals by class. The named team list is withheld. The account-wide opportunities.
Companion → NEXT, “You can act on”Contacts assigned to you, plus contacts you can reach through a pond you share. Each row says why you have it.Same.

Why it works this way

Each agent connects Ace to their own Follow Up Boss login (why Ace asks), so Follow Up Boss applies that agent’s permissions and Ace inherits them. If an agent can’t open a teammate’s contact in Follow Up Boss, Ace doesn’t hand it to them either. The team totals stay visible because a count has no contact behind it.

Which seats count as admin seats is decided by the signed-in person’s own role in Follow Up Boss, never by whoever originally connected the account.

If you’re an admin

Open the admin dashboard: Book of Business → Portfolio → Opportunity Radar shows the account-wide lists. (Seller Radar and Opportunity Radar come with Ace Trove.)

“My radar is empty”

  • The radar is built overnight. Right after Ace Trove is switched on, or on a new account, it says it is analyzing your book.
  • An agent with no likely sellers of their own sees zero, with team totals beside it — that’s the answer, not an error.
  • If the Follow Up Boss row in Companion Settings → Integrations says Paused until you connect, connect as yourself first.
