The Lifecycle Funnel on Your Dashboard

The admin dashboard's top row is now the Lifecycle Funnel: where every contact in your database sits right now, the flow between states, and where the machine is leaking — leads never worked, signals nobody acted on, conversations that never became deals.

What you'll have when you're done

• A live count of contacts in each of the seven lifecycle states (see Your Queue: How Ace Sorts Your Day for what each state means).
• Three leak indicators — assigned leads never first-touched, fresh signals nobody acted on, conversations that never became deals — each with the exact threshold that produced it.
• An honest count of records Ace has written into Follow Up Boss in the last 30 days, labeled for exactly what it is.

Where to find it

It's the band directly under the KPI row on your Dashboard — nothing to turn on, no new nav item. It replaced the old undifferentiated tile grid; everything that used to be on the dashboard is still there, now reading as views onto the flow rather than unrelated tiles.

Reading the funnel

Each state shows its current count, and the last 7/30 days of contacts moving in and out. A count that hasn't been computed yet (a Trove account whose nightly aggregation hasn't run) shows as “not yet derived,” never as a silent zero — the two are different facts and the dashboard says so.

The three leak verdicts are computed from the standing population versus recent outflow, and every one ships the threshold that produced it, so you can check the math yourself rather than take a red flag on faith. Below a minimum volume, the verdict is “not enough data yet” rather than a false clean bill of health.

Clicking a state bar or a leak takes you to the existing Book of Business or Command Center views filtered toward that population — the funnel builds no new contact list of its own.

The write-back number

One tile counts Follow Up Boss records Ace has written in the last 30 days — specifically, successful custom-field updates on your contacts. It is deliberately not labeled as active users, engagement, or any kind of adoption score — it's one honest, narrow count of one thing Ace does, stated as exactly that. It can under-report (a failed write in a given minute is dropped rather than double-counted later) but never over-report.

Free vs. Ace Trove

Every count, every flow number, and every leak verdict is available on every account, free included. Ace Trove adds an estimated dollar value per state, computed from your account's own scoring, refreshed nightly — a Trove account whose nightly number hasn't run yet still sees its counts, just without a dollar figure attached until it has.

Frequently asked questions

A leak indicator says “not enough data.” What does that mean?
The state's population is too small this window for the leak ratio to mean anything reliable — it's not a hidden problem, it's an honest “we can't say yet.”

Why doesn't clicking a state bar filter the people list yet?
It opens the right view (Book of Business or Command Center), but that view's own filter for lifecycle state isn't wired up yet — the tooltip says so rather than implying it does.

Is the write-back number the same as “monthly active users”?
No, deliberately. It counts one specific kind of Follow Up Boss write, nothing about logins or engagement.
