Does Ace Work With My Follow Up Boss Setup?

Ace is built specifically for Follow Up Boss, so it works with the way most teams already run their account. This article answers the common "will it work with my setup?" questions about teams, ponds, lead routing, and smart lists.

Does Ace work with teams and multiple agents?

Yes. Ace is designed for teams. Your admin assigns seats, and each agent gets Ace inside their own Follow Up Boss login. Admins can configure whether an agent sees Ace for every contact or only for the contacts assigned to them.

Does Ace respect ponds and lead assignment?

Yes. When Ace surfaces the contacts an agent can act on, it scopes them to what that agent owns in Follow Up Boss: contacts assigned directly to them, plus contacts in a pond they belong to. An agent does not see act-on suggestions for contacts outside their ponds and assignments.

Note: Team leads and admins get the whole-team view in the Ace dashboard; individual agents get their own book. The scoping mirrors how Follow Up Boss already routes leads to your team.

Does Ace work with smart lists?

Yes, and it makes them more useful. Because Ace writes its scores into Follow Up Boss custom fields, you can build smart lists on them — for example everyone with Ace Churn Risk = High or a high Ace Win Score. Ace also has Quick Prompts you can run against a smart list to work a batch of contacts at once.

Does Ace work with lead routing and my lead sources?

Ace reads the leads and activity already flowing into Follow Up Boss, whatever routes them there. It does not change your lead routing or replace it — it scores and coaches on top of it. Your existing sources, round-robin, and pond rules keep working exactly as they do today.

What do I need for Ace to work?

A Follow Up Boss account connected to Ace (your admin does this once).
Enough custom-field room for Ace's fields — see custom field limits.
A seat assigned to each agent who should have Ace.
