The 15 Ace Smart Lists: What Each One Is For

Updated October 14, 2026

Ace Smart Lists are saved, filtered contact lists named “Ace …” that Ace writes into your Follow Up Boss, already ranked, so your team can work the right people from the place they already work. Every account gets 9; with Ace Trove it’s 15.

The 9 on every account

ListWho is in it
Ace ⚡ Uncontacted LeadsLeads nobody has reached yet, best Ace Win Score first (newest first until your contacts are scored). It works right away, even before scoring finishes.
Ace 🔥 Hot LeadsYour top Ace Win Score contacts (about the top 5%). Work these first.
Ace 💔 High-Value Going ColdHigh Ace Win Score (about the top 15%) who have been silent for 2–6 weeks. Re-engage them while they’re still warm.
Ace ⚠️ Save ListHigh Churn Risk, still reachable (touched in the last 60 days) and worth saving (about the top 50% by Win Score).
Ace 📵 Slipping AwayWorth working (about the top 30% by Win Score) but neglected for 6 weeks to 4 months. Overdue for a rescue.
Ace 🏷 Unrepresented Buyers (open house)Open-house visitors who said they are not working with an agent.
Ace 🌾 Neighbors Who Signed InOpen-house visitors who came from the neighborhood rather than the buyer pool — your seller pipeline.
Ace 🤝 Proven AdvocatesPeople who have already sent you someone: a Home File or packet they shared turned into a real lead.
Ace 💵 Calculator Budget SignalsContacts who played with the payment math on one of your pages. The field records the exact numbers they tried, so you already know their price band.

The last four are built on what your capture tools collect (Ace Forms, Lead Magnets, Home Files, calculators). They appear after your first captured lead, because the fields they read are created the first time something is captured.

The 6 that Ace Trove adds

ListWho is in it
Ace 🎯 Hot Buyers NowActive-buyer opportunity in your top ~15% by Win Score — showings-ready. Book the showing.
Ace 🔎 Likely BuyersBuyer Tier is Very High or High — Ace’s read on who is likely to buy in roughly the next six months, including buyers who have gone quiet. Most likely first.
Ace 🏡 Ready SellersSeller Tier is Very High or High — list-appointment candidates, most likely first.
Ace 🌾 Likely SellersLikely or Active Seller opportunity in your top ~50% by Win Score. Nurture toward a listing appointment.
Ace 🚑 At-Risk OpportunitiesReal opportunities flagged at risk. Step in now.
Ace 💎 Biggest OpportunitiesYour most likely deals (about the top 15% by Win Score), ranked by Expected GCI (est.) — biggest money first.

They read the Ace Trove fields in Follow Up Boss (Opportunity, Seller Tier, Buyer Tier, Expected GCI (est.)), which only Ace Trove writes. On an account without Ace Trove the deploy card names the extra lists so you can see what you’d gain.

Cutoffs come from your own book

“Top ~5%” means the top 5% of your scored contacts, not a fixed number, so a list means the same thing on a book where scores run low and one where they run high. Each list’s description in Follow Up Boss ends with your actual cutoff, for example “On your book that is a Win Score above 23.” Until enough of your book is scored to use your own percentiles, a list says it is using a fixed cutoff for now.

Deploy and re-sync

  • Ace deploys the lists automatically when you connect Follow Up Boss, and again whenever we improve a list or your plan changes.
  • To do it yourself, use the Ace Smart Lists card on the Dashboard, Account Setup, Setup Health, or in Pipeline → FUB Smart Lists. The button reads Deploy N to FUB the first time and Re-sync lists after that.
  • Each list has a switch. Switch one off and Ace removes it from Follow Up Boss and keeps it out. Deleting a list inside Follow Up Boss without the switch is temporary — the next re-sync recreates it.
  • While your contacts are still being scored, the card shows “Ace is scoring your contacts now” and the lists fill themselves in.

Want your own version of a list?

A re-sync rewrites every list named like an Ace list to the current Ace filters, sort and columns, so edits you make to an Ace-named list inside Follow Up Boss do not survive. Lists are matched by their exact name. To keep your own variant: rename your copy in Follow Up Boss (renamed lists are never touched), then switch that Ace list off on the card so Ace doesn’t recreate its own.

What the lists need

A list is only deployed when the Ace fields it reads exist in your Follow Up Boss. If Follow Up Boss won’t let Ace create them, see Follow Up Boss Custom Field Limits and Your Ace Fields. If you disconnect Ace, the lists and fields stay in Follow Up Boss as ordinary lists and fields.

How they differ from your other lists

  • Your own Follow Up Boss Smart Lists are yours; Ace never edits them unless they carry an Ace list’s exact name.
  • Ace Smart Lists live inside Follow Up Boss: a fixed filter with one sort, ranked by the most relevant Ace field.
  • The Dynamic Smart List (admin dashboard, Ace Trove group) is different: an ordered set of rules that decides who each agent should work next in the Companion’s NOW and NEXT views. It lives in Ace, not in Follow Up Boss.
