Real-World Applications

Morning Task Review

Start every day by asking Ace for your overdue and today's tasks. Get a clear picture of who needs a call, which emails are pending, and what showings are scheduled. Knock out your task list systematically without bouncing between FUB screens. Mark tasks complete as you go.

Post-Showing Follow-Up

After a showing, create follow-up tasks in one sentence. Set a Call task for tomorrow to get feedback, an Email task to send comparable listings, and a Thank You task for the listing agent. Each task gets the right type, due date, and contact link automatically.

Team Task Distribution

As a team lead, create and assign tasks across your agents. Use bulk_create_tasks to assign follow-up calls for an entire lead list to specific agents. Check on completion rates by fetching tasks filtered by assignedUserId and isCompleted status.

Transaction Milestone Tracking

Create Closing-type tasks for every transaction milestone: inspection deadline, appraisal date, title review, final walkthrough. Set due dates with specific times using dueDateTime in ISO format. Never miss a critical deadline again.

Frequently Asked Questions

What task types does Ace support?

Ace supports all 9 Follow Up Boss task types: Follow Up, Call, Email, Text, Appointment, Showing, Closing, Open House, and Thank You. Each type appears with its corresponding icon in FUB and can be filtered separately. Choose the type that best matches the action so your task list stays organized and actionable.

Can I set specific times for task reminders?

Yes. Use the dueDateTime parameter with a full ISO 8601 timestamp including timezone, like 2026-04-07T09:00:00-05:00 for 9am Central. This sets both the date and the exact time. If you only need a date without a specific time, use dueDate in YYYY-MM-DD format. Tasks with specific times trigger reminders in FUB at the set time.

How does bulk task creation work?

The bulk_create_tasks tool accepts an array of personIds along with a taskName, dueDate, and assignedTo. It creates an identical task for every contact in the list. This is ideal for post-event follow-ups where you need the same action for 20+ contacts, or for team leads distributing call lists to agents.

Can I see tasks assigned to my team members?

Yes. Use fetch_tasks with the assignedUserId parameter to see any agent's task list. Filter by isCompleted to see what's done vs outstanding, use the due parameter for today/overdue/upcoming, or search by task type to see all pending calls or showings across the team.
