Lastro Secures $16M Series A Funding Led by Prosus Ventures
Brazilian artificial intelligence (AI) platform Lastro has announced the successful closure of a $16 million Series A funding round. The round was led by global investment firm Prosus Ventures, with additional participation from FJ Labs, Endeavor Scale-Up Ventures, Canary, QED, and 1Sharpe Ventures.
Founded in 2021, Lastro focuses on creating AI-driven solutions tailored for real estate companies. Its flagship technology, Lais, is designed to streamline customer engagement and optimize lead qualification and conversion rates. The platform supports both rental and property sales by expediting communication between parties and reducing operational workloads, offering a more efficient approach for real estate agencies and property managers.
The newly raised funds will be used to enhance the capabilities of Lais and expand Lastro’s footprint in Brazil’s growing AI market.
To date, Lastro has raised a total of $20 million in funding. The company gained significant recognition in 2024 when it was selected as one of ten Brazilian startups to participate in AWS’s global generative AI acceleration program.
This funding round marks a significant milestone for Lastro, as it seeks to further solidify its position as a leading AI platform within the real estate sector. With the backing of prominent investors, the company is well-positioned to scale its operations and continue innovating in the AI space.
